UNDIP Global Classroom Discusses Forecasting Method: Multiple Linear Regression

The Department of Mathematics of Universitas Diponegoro successfully organized an Undip Global Classroom (UGC) program via Zoom on May 22–23, 2026, under the theme “Forecasting Method: Multiple Linear Regression.” The event featured Dr. Najua Syuhada Ahmad Alhassora from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) as the guest speaker, while Anindita Henindya Permatasari, S.Si., M.Mat. served as the moderator. The program attracted students and academics interested in enhancing their knowledge of forecasting techniques using multiple linear regression.

During the sessions, Dr. Najua presented the fundamental concepts, model development procedures, result interpretation, and practical applications of Multiple Linear Regression in forecasting and data analysis. The interactive discussion session provided participants with valuable opportunities to explore the implementation of the method in various real-world problems.

Through this Undip Global Classroom initiative, it is expected that the academic partnership between Universitas Diponegoro and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia will continue to grow stronger. The program not only broadened participants’ understanding of forecasting methods but also contributed to the development of a globally oriented learning environment and the promotion of sustainable international academic collaboration.
