The purpose of this summer course is to provide participants with a strong foundation in modern applied mathematics that supports the development and analysis of artificial intelligence systems.

The course aims to connect mathematical theory with practical AI applications, equipping participants with essential tools in optimization, stochastic modeling, and dynamical systems.

It seeks to enhance analytical and computational skills, enabling participants to address complex, data-driven problems and contribute effectively to research and innovation in the AI-driven era.

Additional programs:

  • Special discussion session for students interested in pursuing graduate studies abroad esp. in Japan (TMU) and Thailand (MFU). Participants will gain practical insights into applying for Master’s and Ph.D. programs, including scholarship opportunities, admission requirements, application strategies, and student life in Japan and Thailand.
    Participants (esp. Students) will also have the opportunity to interact directly with the invited speakers, who are potential candidates for academic supervision and future research collaboration.

Travel Grants for International Students

A limited number of travel grants for international students are available. The exact number of recipients will depend on the registrations. The grant covers:

  1. Flight tickets for up to USD 275 (If the expense is more than USD 275, the recipients will need to cover the difference themselves or apply for a co-funding to their institutions)
  2. Accommodation with breakfast and lunch during the event (Check in 12 July, Check Out 17 July)
  3. Local airport transfers and local transportation from the hotel to the venue
  4. Local tour on 17 July
